Last Sunday saw the final session of our Performance Squad programme whereby twenty of our colts participated in high class coaching at both Lords and the Wheathampstead cricket club
Run over three consecutive Sundays, this new venture exceeded all expectations and we have had excellent feedback from both the parents and boys involved.
Highlights included the use of pitch vision technology at Lords which enabled the coaches to record each shot played / ball bowled and analyse this data in order to fine tune techniques and improve the players cricketing ability. We have already seen the benefits of this programme with match winning performances from the boys demonstrating high level skills in the bowling and batting departments.
