3rd XI / 4th XI Captain Wanted

18 Jan 2021

All,

As most of you will be aware, on the back of a successful 2020 season, we have entered a 4th XI into
the Herts League.

Andy Alexander - Current Captain of the 3rd XI Invincibles is happy to stay on and captain either the 3rd XI
or 4th XI. The club therefore requires another organised player to step up and take on the reigns of one of the XIs.

3rd XI
The plan for the 3rd XI would be provide a breeding ground for young cricketers that have come through
the ranks to experience competitive adult cricket.
Ideally the 3rd XI would continue their form from 2020 and progress through the league structure, closing
the gap on the 2nd XI.
We'd need someone approachable with a good cricket brain, who can lead by example and teach the kids a thing or two!

4th XI
The 4th XI take over the role of the current 3rd XI, an enjoyable, slightly more laid back team, but still
competitive in their own right.
Navigating Regional Division C North will require tactical acumen, intra team diplomacy and a large address book!

Games will be 40/40 - 12:00 / 13:00 start (tbc) May - September.

If you think this is you then please drop me a mail (james@celeritasit.co.uk) or ping me a message (07708923672).
There is no requirement to have been a regular player before hand.
Colts Parents, ex-players, young players, old players all welcome to apply.
Roles are normally decided at the club AGM, which will be held next week, 25th January.

I'm happy to discuss either role in more detail if need be.

Cheers
Jimmy
