Dear Members,
As communicated after the AGM in January, we are introducing a new membership and subscription
structure for 2023.
We will continue with our PAYG
subscription – with an addition of a £20 yearly membership –
that ‘buys
you in’ to being a full club member – including winter net fee – whilst
also giving you the
flexibility to play as and when you want.
The second option is aimed at those frequent players – they can pay the
lump sum
(equivalent to 13 full games) for the season and play as all
they can.
Some of the increase in revenue for
2023 will indeed go to cover costs, but the majority will be reinvested
back into the club in the form of more structured and professional
training and coaching opportunities,
extra pitch maintenance and club
equipment.

These fees are for senior matches only. If you are a junior player in our colt section, your
membership to WCC and age group matches are already covered by your annual colts membership.
You would still need to pay the match subs as above.
Whilst
club costs have increased significantly over the past couple of years,
we have endeavoured to
keep the cost of playing cricket at
Wheathampstead competitive and still relatively low. However should
you find yourself struggling with the cost please do message me here and we will do what we can to help.
For the U25s, help is also available via the James Marshall Foundation.
