A quick update as we begin our bi-centenary year.
Adult Winter Nets start on Tuesday 16th January @ Sandringham School - 19:00 - 21:00
Open to all senior members - colts, please talk to your age group coach to see if you should be attending.
This year we are delighted to announce that former Essex and England bowler Mark Illot will be joining us most weeks to help run the sessions.
Colts nets will also start in January - please look out for updates from your age-group coach. Apologies for the delay in getting exact timings
there have been various issues with securing the venues that Roger has been hard at work sorting.
Senior League Cricket commences Saturday 11th May.
The AGM will be held at the club on Wednesday 31st January at 19:30, this is your chance to have a say
on how the club votes on the proposed league playing rules and we also elect club officers for the year.
On that topic, I will be standing down as Chair after 5 years at the helm.
Hannah and I plan on emigrating to Australia during the summer (after cricket week!), and whilst there are many moving parts to hitting that date, it's going to take a lot of time & head space to try and make it happen.
I would love to continue, but I will not be able to dedicate the energy, drive or have the commitment to make the best of it, so do not think it right to carry on.
The position needs to go to a enthusiastic individual who has the time and vision for the club to build on the strong position we now find ourselves in.
Chris Martin has also decided to step down after 10+ years as fixture secretary. Thanks Chris!
