The 3rd XI secured their sixth win of the season after a convincing victory over Datchworth 3rd XI. Richard Hodgson (93) and Simon Evans (31) batted superbly to help Wheato post 165 before Chris Dilks (7 for 44) and Geoff Playle (3 for 59) bowled magnificently to give Wheato the win. Next up is a visit from Rickmansworth 5th XI.

The Sunday 1st XI had their game ruined by the rain after posting a competitive 220 off their 50 overs. Sam Ledger (42), Richard Winchester (33) and Mark Winchester (32) batted superbly to help Wheato post the score at 4.4 runs per over but with Botany Bay on 105 for 4 off 25 overs, the rain started to fall. The Herts League rules reduced the score by the first innings run rate so the chase was cut to 181 off 41. The Botany Bay batsman took advantage of the wet ball and got over the line with 11 balls to spare.
