*Please note the deadline for sign-up for the monthly direct debit is Sunday 15th December.

 

As our membership nears 300 members, we kindly ask for your cooperation in completing the form and ensuring that your membership fees are paid by your chosen method by the given deadlines. This task is extremely laborious for our volunteers who need to chase up payments.

 

**Please note if you have more than one playing for Wheathampstead you will need to complete the form for all players.

 

Below is a breakdown of the membership fees for the upcoming season. 

 

As a club, we aim to be as transparent as possible regarding our price increases. Due to rising costs, heat, light, ground works etc... we need to review our pricing regularly to ensure we remain a sustainable club. Our model is to cover our cricketing costs with membership fees, and any surplus is reinvested into the club to provide the best for our members.

 

• We will no longer be accepting one-off annual fees to be collected by direct debit, we will only be accepting the monthly installments by direct debit, please direct all one-off annual fees to the club bank account.

• We are introducing a £30 winter net fee to cover the cost of running these nets. For those who cannot commit to the whole winter, there will be a £5 per net fee.
• For those committing to the "all you can play" model, this fee is included in your annual subscription, whether you pay in one go or via direct debit. To further incentivise this model, we have included a discounted increase of just £12 per year or £1 per month to your direct debit.
• Students/Colts playing adult cricket: To continue making cricket affordable for young persons, we have kept the membership fee at the same level for next season.

• To cover our cricketing costs, we have had to increase the Colts fees by £15 (10%) for the 2025 season. We hope you continue to see great value in this, as it will continue to cover both winter and summer cricket.
• Due to the success of introducing our Colts into adult cricket last season, we will again offer the combined membership at a discount for paying both the Colts fees and their adult cricket at the same rate as last season.

We understand that cricket can be an expensive sport to participate in. If you find it difficult to pay your subs or for kit, please feel free to contact us, and we will see what the club can do to help. For colts queries please contact Tom Gillham as we are working with local charities to help support those who may struggle to pay subs and we dont want any child priced out of cricket.
