Weekend Preview - 25th & 26th May
24 May 2013
This weekend the club will be looking to not only do the double against Northwood, but pull off wins against Botany Bay and Reed. Remember that Saturday night will feature not only the Champions League Final, but the Froch vs Kessler fight so make sure to get down and support the club!
1st XI
After their draw against Botany Bay last week, the 1st XI travel to Northwood as they go in search of their second victory of the season. A full thirty points would help Adam Winchester's men hugely in cementing a place in the top half of the table.
2nd XI
After their losing draw against Redbourn last week, the 2nd XI welcome Northwood 2nd's to Nomansland to try and get themselves back in the top four spots. Jimmy McEwen's men won last time they played at Nomansland and he will be hoping for the same result this weekend.
3rd XI
After smashing Northwood 3rd XI last week, the 3rd XI travel to Reed 4th XI this week. Having two wins and a no result on the board, Richard Hodgson will be hoping to grab his third win of the season.
4th XI
After their great opening performance last week, the 4th XI will play Botany Bay 4th XI in their second game. Alan Bates will be back captaining the team and will hope for his first victory as skipper in 2013.
Sunday XI
The Sunday XI will travel to picturesque Preston on Sunday in one of the best Sunday fixtures of the Summer. Having beaten Reed in the Village Cup last week, the team will be full of different faces, but Wheato will be hoping for another Sunday win!
