1st XI (221-7) drew with Northwood 1st XI (206-5):
A. Winchester 79 & 2 for 32 & R. Winchester 70

The 1st XI were held to an entertaining draw at Northwood 1st XI as taking wickets proved tough for both teams. Having won the toss and choosing to bat, Adam Winchester (79) and Richard Winchester (70) shared a second wicket stand of 161 to put Wheato in a good position at 221 for 7 which allowed them to declare after 52 overs. Strong batting from Northwood opener Daniel Rodgers (120*) put Northwood in with a chance needing 4 an over for the last 14 but tight bowling from Adam Winchester (2 for 32) and Mitchell Futcher (14 overs for 46) held off the late charge and the game ended as a draw. The 1st's will host Kings Langley at Nomansland next Saturday as they go in search of their second win of the season.

2nd XI (174-3) beat Northwood 2nd XI (173-6) by 7 wickets:
T. Houlahan 53, J. McEwen 48 & E. Keane 38*

Jimmy McEwen's 2nd XI picked up their third win of the season after a convincing performance against Northwood 2nd XI. Wheato bowled well to restrict Northwood to 173-6 off their 53 overs before sublime hitting from Todd Houlahan (53), captain Jimmy McEwen (48) and Eamonn Keane (38*) saw the score knocked off with just 3 wickets down. Next up for the 2nd XI is a trip to Kings Langley 2nd XI.

3rd XI (142-5) beat Reed 4th XI (140-8) by 5 wickets:
Z. Ahmed 4 for 5, E. Tahsin 41* & P. Robbins 42*

The 3rd XI went second in Division 13 after a superb victory against Reed 4th XI. Zaheer Ahmed's devastating spell saw him take 4 for 5 in just 4 overs to restrict Reed to 140 for 8 before Ender Tahsin (41*) and Pete Robbins (42*) helped to knock off the runs with 5 wickets down. Next up for the 3rd XI is a visit from Leverstock Green 4th XI. 

4th XI (127-9) drew with Botany Bay 4th XI (143-6):
M. Patel 60* & 3 for 30

The 4th XI had a memorable draw against Botany Bay 4th XI with Mukesh Patel and the lower order putting in a fine batting display to save Wheato. Earlier in the day Patel had picked up 3 for 30 to restrict Botany Bay to 143 for 6 and at 45 for 8, Wheato looked set to lose. It took a superb finish from Patel (60*), Gary Mardle (18) and captain Alan Bates (3*) to see Wheato hold on for the draw, finishing on 127 for 9. Next up its a trip to face Knebworth Park 6th XI.
